Rin Vispose

Rin Vispose has served as personal maid and bodyguard to Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX, the Nebulis Sovereignty's second princess, since Alice was a small child. That long history gives Rin a closeness with Alice that goes beyond simple duty, and she takes her role protecting the princess extremely seriously.

Rin is also a genuinely dangerous fighter in her own right. She is a powerful astral mage who specializes in earth-based magic, able to summon golems made of stone and rock to fight on her behalf, giving her both offensive firepower and a reliable way to shield Alice during combat. That combination of loyalty and raw strength makes her one of the more formidable figures surrounding the Nebulis royal family, even though she rarely takes center stage compared to Alice herself.

Because Alice's own battles regularly put her in direct conflict with the Empire soldier Iska and his unit, Rin's protective instincts put her on a collision course with them as well, standing as one of the obstacles Iska has to get through whenever the fighting around Alice turns serious.
