Meliodas

Meliodas looks like a short, easygoing teenager who spends his days running a traveling bar called the Boar Hat, but underneath that playful surface hides a Demon over three thousand years old. He is the son of the Demon King himself and once commanded the Ten Commandments, the Demon Clan's strongest warriors, before turning his back on his own people.

He gave up that power because he fell in love with a goddess named Elizabeth, a forbidden pairing between two warring races that sparked a massive war between demons and goddesses long ago. As punishment, Elizabeth was cursed to be endlessly reborn, dying again just days after regaining her memories and power each time, and Meliodas was forced to watch this happen over and over across the centuries.

In the present day, Meliodas leads the Seven Deadly Sins, a group of knights falsely accused of plotting against their own kingdom, carrying the title Sin of Wrath. He acts flirty and silly most of the time, often teasing Elizabeth Liones, the current reincarnation of his lost love, but he turns genuinely terrifying whenever someone he cares about is threatened. His closest friend among the Sins is Ban, even though the two rarely speak about anything serious. After finally defeating the Demon King, Meliodas gives up his old life of fighting to rule peacefully over the kingdom of Liones alongside Elizabeth and their son, Tristan.
