Diane

Diane is a seven-hundred-fifty-year-old Giant from a village called Mega Dozer, far larger and stronger than an ordinary human, though she wears a far more human-looking, youthful appearance most of the time. Despite her great strength, she genuinely dislikes fighting and would rather live peacefully, which makes her role as the Sin of Envy among the Seven Deadly Sins something of a contradiction she has learned to live with.

Diane spent five centuries traveling beside King, the fairy king, though she lost all memory of that time after he erased it to shield her from grief. Later, she was falsely blamed for killing Matrona, the leader of her Giant clan, and was about to be executed for a crime she never committed when Meliodas stepped in and recruited her into the Seven Deadly Sins instead.

In the early part of the story, Diane develops feelings for Meliodas, but over time she grows close to Elizabeth Liones instead, the two becoming firm friends who support each other through the group's hardships. Diane fights using a massive war hammer called Gideon and powers tied to the earth itself. Eventually she regains her lost memories of King and the love they once shared, and after years of circling each other, the two finally marry, giving Diane the quiet, settled life that always sat so oddly beside her role as a warrior.
