Tenya Iida

Tenya Iida comes from the respected Iida family, a lineage of heroes, and takes enormous pride in living up to that name through hard work and strict discipline. He is serious, honest, and deeply organized, often correcting his classmates' behavior in a way that can come across as bossy, though it comes from genuine good intentions rather than arrogance.

Tenya looks up to his older brother, Tensei Iida, a professional hero, and originally hopes to follow the same path as a rescue specialist. When a villain named Stain critically injures Tensei and forces him to retire, Tenya is devastated and nearly loses himself to anger, wanting revenge rather than justice. Izuku Midoriya and their other classmates step in during this moment, helping to pull him back from a path that would have betrayed everything his brother stood for.

Afterward, Tenya chooses to carry on his brother's legacy properly, training to become the kind of hero Tensei was before his injury. Despite his strict, by-the-book personality, Tenya is quick to admit his own mistakes and genuinely values his classmates, including Ochako Uraraka and Shouto Todoroki, whom he has come to respect deeply since the entrance exam first showed him their true character.
