About
This is the final part of Dr. STONE, the science adventure anime by TMS Entertainment. Part 3 of Science Future aired in Japan from April 2 to June 25, 2026, on Thursday nights, with 13 episodes. It also streamed on Crunchyroll. With these episodes, the TV series reached its last chapter and the full ending of the manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi.
A quick look back: thousands of years ago, a green light turned every human into stone. Senku Ishigami, a teenager who loves science, woke up and began to rebuild the world step by step. His friends call their group the Kingdom of Science. Across the earlier seasons, they went from making simple tools to building ships, cities, and machines. They also learned that a hidden enemy called Why-Man is behind the stone attack, and that it seems to be on the Moon.
By the start of this part, Senku and his old teacher Dr. Xeno are working on the same side. Xeno is a sharp and proud American scientist, and the two minds together are stronger than ever. Their goal is the hardest project in the whole series: a rocket that can carry people to the Moon. Xeno takes on the engine, while Senku's crew keeps searching the world for metals, fuel, and skilled helpers. They also keep waking up more people from stone, because a space trip needs a lot of hands.
The episode titles give a good idea of the path. "Future Engine" and "Fire" deal with power for the rocket. "The Universe Is Written in the Language of Mathematics" and "Dawn of the Computer" show the team needing math and even a computer, so they look for a gifted math expert named Sai. Later titles such as "Stone to Space," "Countdown," and "Giant Step" point to the big launch. The very last episodes face Why-Man directly, so the story finally gets close to answering the question the whole series began with.
The main faces here include Senku, the brave and fast fighter Kohaku, and Ryusui Nanami, a bold ship captain with a love for money and adventure. Many other friends from past seasons also return to help. The tone stays bright and funny, but there is also a strong sense of an ending, since this is the payoff for years of work.
What makes this part stand out is the scale. Earlier seasons were about making soap or glass. Now the team is making a computer and a space rocket in a world that had nothing. It is a hopeful story about people from many countries working together, and about how small steps in science can, in the end, carry humans all the way to the Moon.
