Regro Burnedead

Regro Burnedead is the adoptive father of Mash Burnedead. He is an older man, around 75 years old, and a magic user who has only a single line on his mark, the weakest rank. Mash was born without magic. Because people without magic are treated badly in this world, Regro took him far from towns and raised him alone in the wilderness.

This quiet life is why Mash grew up so strong and so simple in his ways. Regro's choice to protect his son from other people is what sets the whole story in motion. When Mash leaves to attend Easton Magic Academy, he does it partly to keep his family safe.
