Lance Crown

Lance is the rival that Mash Burnedead respects most. He is clever, proud, and driven. His magic bends gravity, so he can crush or lift things around him.

The reason behind his drive is his little sister, Anna. She has a disease that drains magic from her body, and the laws of his country could put her life at risk. Lance made a promise to reach the rank of Divine Visionary, an elite group of top mages, so that nobody can take her away. Even as a small child, he defended people who were bullied, and he fought for them though it brought him trouble.

He has a silly weakness too. Bugs and ghosts terrify him. After clashing with Mash, he makes peace with Mash and Finn Ames. He becomes the planner of their friend group.
