Lahan

Lahan is the heir of the La clan in The Apothecary Diaries. He is the real nephew of the strategist Lakan, who adopted him and made him the official heir of the family. This also makes him a cousin of Maomao.

Like his uncle, Lahan is sharp, observant, and cunning. He is an odd young man with a deep love of figures and calculation, and he tends to see the world in terms of math. He works as an administrator for the military, the kind of person who keeps records and plans in order while others fight or plot.

Lahan often gets pulled into his family's messy affairs, especially the tense relationship between Lakan and Maomao. His clever mind and strange personal quirks make him a memorable member of the La clan.
