Digimon's fan-voted Best Adventure broadcast releases its main PV ahead of October 4
The 30th-anniversary program airs HD remasters of the fan-favorite episodes of Adventure, Adventure 02, Tamers and Frontier, with a new opening, "Shakariki!!", sung by Ayumi Miyazaki and Takayoshi Tanimoto.
Digimon Adventure episode 54, "A New World," finished at the top of the Adventure rankings when fans worldwide were asked to name the best Digimon episodes, and starting October 4 Japanese television will rerun the winners. The Best Adventure We Chose (Bokura ga Eranda Best Adventure) has now released its main promotional video, which also gives a proper first listen to the program's new opening theme.
The vote, run under the name "World's Choice of Best Episodes of 4 Digimon Anime Series," kicked off the Digimon 30th Anniversary Project and covered four series: Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, Digimon Tamers and Digimon Frontier. Winning episodes return as HD remasters. According to the fan wiki Wikimon, the Adventure and Tamers picks come first, with 02 and Frontier after them, and the fan site With the Will reports that director Kakudou is overseeing the upscale of the Adventure material.

Veterans on the music
The opening, "Shakariki!!", reunites two singers whose Digimon work goes back more than 25 years. Ayumi Miyazaki performed "brave heart," the Adventure insert song, while Takayoshi Tanimoto sang Tamers' "One Vision." Hiroshi Yamada, lyricist for 02's "Break up!" and "Beat Hit!", wrote the words, and Michihiko Ohta, who composed Frontier's opening "FIRE!!" and contributed music to all four featured shows, wrote the melody. With the Will reports the same team also made the ending theme, "Limitless Dreams."
The program will not be limited to Japan: the official Digimon anime account said on September 16 that it will stream globally, with regional details yet to be announced.
Three decades of Digital Monsters
It all started with a handheld: the original Digital Monster LCD virtual pet went on sale in Japan on June 26, 1997, so the 30th anniversary arrives next year. The first Adventure TV series premiered in March 1999 and ran 54 episodes, and 02, Tamers and Frontier followed in 2000, 2001 and 2002. The newest series, Digimon Beatbreak, has been on Japanese TV since October 5, 2025 and streams on Crunchyroll.
