Albedo

Albedo is a succubus who oversees all of the Floor Guardians protecting the Great Tomb of Nazarick, the underground stronghold at the center of the Overlord story. Her striking looks hide a far colder, crueler side, and she looks down on ordinary humans as beneath her notice, treating most of them as little more than obstacles or tools.

Just before the game world she was created in shut down, her creator, one of the guild's departing members, changed her settings as a parting joke so that she would fall in love with Momonga, the guild's last remaining leader. When the world becomes real, that programmed feeling becomes genuine devotion, and Albedo grows obsessed with Momonga, reacting intensely to even small gestures from him. Despite outwardly being a demon of lust, she is privately a virgin and deeply embarrassed by it, a contradiction she hides behind her composed exterior.

Albedo competes constantly with fellow guardian Shalltear Bloodfallen for Momonga's attention, though the rivalry never turns into real hatred between them. She is also close to her two sisters, Nigredo and Rubedo, especially Rubedo, whose loyalty she vouches for personally. Beneath her duties managing Nazarick's guardians, Albedo quietly resents the other guild members who abandoned Momonga and the tomb they all built together, and she channels that resentment into fierce, sometimes ruthless protection of the one creator who stayed.
