Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 Part 2

This is the second half of Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2. It premieres on October 11, 2026. The season was split into two parts, called cours. The first part aired from April to June 2026, and this part continues the story right where it paused. Studio Silver Link is still in charge of the animation. The series is based on the manga by Hitsuji Gondaira, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2019 to early 2025 and sold more than 3 million copies.

For anyone new, here is the setup. Taiyo Asano was a lonely, very shy high school boy whose only friend was Mutsumi Yozakura. Then he found out that Mutsumi is the head of the Yozakura family, the strongest family of spies in Japan. Her older brother, Kyoichiro, was so protective of her that he tried to get rid of Taiyo. To stay alive, Taiyo married Mutsumi, since family rules say members cannot harm each other. Since then, he has trained hard, joined the family on dangerous missions, and grown from a scared boy into a real spy.

The Yozakura house is full of unusual siblings, each an expert in one skill, from hand-to-hand fighting and weapons to hacking, disguise, and medicine. Their home life is loud and silly, and much of the fun comes from their big personalities. The family has also taken in Ai, a little girl rescued from Tanpopo, the criminal group that was behind so much of the pain in Taiyo's past.

The first part of Season 2 opened some serious new problems. The special power Taiyo received through Yozakura blood is strong, but it has started to hurt his health. He also had a strange dream about Tsubomi, the very first head of the Yozakura family, who gave him a shocking task. To understand what is happening to him, Taiyo has been digging into the family's long history and its hidden secrets. At the same time, he is working toward a higher spy rank so that he can better protect Mutsumi and their family.

This second part is expected to push these storylines further, mixing tense spy action with the family comedy and warm romance the show is known for. Details past this point would spoil the earlier episodes, so this overview stops here.

This part is not a good starting point. Viewers should watch Season 1 and the first half of Season 2 before this one.
