An orphaned boy finally gets a family, and a sprawling old-fashioned mansion to live in, but the people who took him in are guarding something nobody outside may discover. That premise belongs to Hiragi-san's House of Vampires (Hiiragi-san Chi no Kyuuketsu Jijou), which is now headed for television. Its anime website went live on October 31 alongside a first teaser image, and UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS holds the planning and production credit.

Shota Minamoto, the lead, is still in junior high when the Hiiragi household adopts him out of an orphanage. Kodansha's English page describes the result as a "cozy, bloody love comedy."

Miki Yoshikawa, who also made A Couple of Cuckoos, first tried the idea as a standalone chapter in Weekly Shonen Magazine in the autumn of 2019. A regular run followed two years later in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, beginning in October 2021, and the sixth collected book came out in November 2025. In English, K MANGA has been publishing new chapters digitally alongside Japan since May 2024.

The author shared a short message. In her view the manga carries a mood that is a little gloomy yet lovely, and she believes that suits an animated version. When she draws, she said, she pays close attention to how sunlit daytime scenes play against darker ones at night. She hopes audiences savor the moonlight, and above everything else, end up loving its vampires.

Nothing further has been revealed. There is no word yet on who will voice the characters, who will direct, or when the series will air.
