Cosplayer Enako sings the opening and voices a police nurse in Isshiki-san Wants to Know About Love, as the main trailer lands ahead of January 2027
The main trailer for the TV anime of Ayune Araragi's police-office romance previews Enako's opening song "Gō Yoku Koi wo Seisu!?" and introduces her as Nene, the infirmary nurse. Sakura Create's series starts in January 2027 on AT-X, Kansai TV and Tokyo MX, with a December 13 preview screening first.
Enako, a name most people know from cosplay, now has two jobs on Isshiki-san Wants to Know About Love. She sings its opening theme, and she has a role in the cast. The show's official X account confirmed both on October 31 with its main trailer, two months or so before the January 2027 broadcast.
Her song is "Gō Yoku Koi wo Seisu!?", and part of it plays over the footage. Yashikin is credited with the words, the melody and the arrangement. In the story itself, Enako is Nene, the nurse who staffs the infirmary at the police station. The official profile paints her as an "easygoing, unhurried older woman" and "quietly the most popular person at the station", someone who sidesteps every attempt to win her over. The casting was first unveiled on stage at Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest 2026, a costume event in that Tokyo district.
A romance between two beginners
Rinna Isshiki is the officer everyone looks up to; she joined the force at seventeen and has built a sterling reputation since. Recently, though, her work keeps slipping, and the reason is Meishi Rokutanda, a well-meaning detective with a habit of forgetting things. With zero experience of such feelings, she suggests the two of them try a fake relationship, purely so she can work out what love is.
Riko Akechi gives Isshiki her voice, while Shūichirō Umeda plays Rokutanda. The supporting roles go to Haruki Ishiya (Danjuro Iwata), Takuma Nagatsuka (Masato Nakatani), Hiiro Ishibashi (Chikai Matsumoto) and Yu Wakui (Rena Yamakawa).
The team at Sakura Create
Behind the camera, Kazuya Komai is directing for studio Sakura Create. Deko Akao oversees the scripts as series composer, and Shōhei Hamaguchi is the character designer. This main trailer follows a teaser from May 2026, the first to put the lead voices on screen and the one that fixed the January 2027 target.
From Comic Rex to Shonen Ace
The manga by Ayune Araragi has roots older than its present run. Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex carried an earlier version, Rinna Keibu wa Kokyu ga Dekinai, between late 2016 and the end of 2017. Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace picked up the current serialization in June 2020; volume 11 arrives in Japanese stores on December 24, and an English edition comes from Yen Press.
Before the broadcast
Tokyo audiences get the first two episodes ahead of television. Akechi, Umeda and Enako are booked as guests for a December 13 preview at the Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas, with tickets drawn by lottery; Ticket Pia accepts entries until November 23. Broadcast follows in January 2027, with AT-X, Kansai TV and Tokyo MX among the stations carrying it. No precise start date has been set.
