Luluka Moria

Luluka Moria is a strange kind of Pretty Cure: instead of fighting for justice in the open, she works as a member of the mysterious Phantom Thieves, a role that puts her at odds with the heroines she technically belongs among. Her personality matches that contradiction; she is relaxed and unconventional, never quite acting the way people expect a Pretty Cure to act.

Her most important scheme targets Kurea Howa, another Cure hiding a double life as a pastry chef. Luluka plans to shatter the gem tied to Kurea's heart, a plot that would erase both her Precure powers and her memories of ever having been a detective, leaving her to live out a quiet, simple life baking pastries instead. It is a strangely gentle kind of attack, more about freeing Kurea from a painful past than destroying her outright.

Anna Akechi and Mikuru Kobayashi refuse to let that happen, standing by Kurea and helping her transform again to fight alongside them rather than disappear into an ordinary life. Luluka's unusual goals make her one of the more complicated figures in the series, someone whose plans blur the line between villain and protector depending on how you look at them.
