Hermes Costello

Ermes Costello is one of the inmates Jolyne Kuujou befriends inside Green Dolphin Street Prison in Stone Ocean, the sixth arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Years earlier, her older sister was murdered by a dangerous criminal while protecting her, and Ermes has never stopped wanting justice for that loss.

Rather than wait for the law to catch her sister's killer, Ermes deliberately got herself arrested and sent to the same prison, hoping that staying close to the case would eventually lead her to him. That same stubborn, determined streak makes her a reliable, no-nonsense member of Jolyne's growing group of allies, even though she is initially wary of trusting anyone inside the prison.

Her Stand, a fighting spirit called Kiss, is unusual: it creates special stickers shaped like lip prints that can duplicate almost any object they are placed on, from food to weapons, giving Ermes a quiet but very useful edge in a fight. She fights alongside Weather Report, Narciso Annasui, and the young Emporio Alnino as they try to stop the prison's warden, Enrico Pucci. Ermes is killed during the group's final battle with Pucci, one more loss in the heavy price Jolyne's allies pay trying to stop him.
