Narciso Anasui is a fellow inmate Jolyne Kuujou meets inside Green Dolphin Street Prison during Stone Ocean, the sixth arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. He is serving time for killing his girlfriend after discovering she had been unfaithful to him, a violent act that still shapes how other prisoners see him.
Anasui has a striking, androgynous look and a personality that swings between gentle devotion and sudden bursts of obsession. Once he meets Jolyne, he becomes completely fixated on her, convinced that staying close to her and helping her cause will somehow cleanse the darker parts of himself. That devotion turns him from a frightening loner into one of Jolyne's most loyal protectors.
His Stand, a fighting spirit called Diver Down, lets him enter solid objects, including people's bodies, and rearrange or reinforce them from the inside, which makes him especially useful for emergency repairs and sudden ambushes alike. Anasui fights alongside Jolyne, Weather Report, Hermes Costello, and Emporio Alnino as they try to stop the warden, Enrico Pucci. Near the end of the story, Anasui gives his life trying to warn Jotaro Kujo about Pucci's most dangerous new power, a final selfless act that reflects just how far his devotion to Jolyne's cause has taken him.
On screen

Stone Ocean Part 2 brings the rest of the sixth JoJo's Bizarre Adventure story to the screen. It covers episodes 13 to 38 of the Netflix anime by David Production. Netflix released these 26 episodes in two groups: episodes 13 to 24 on September 1, 2022, and the final 14 episodes on December 1, 2022. It follows straight on from the first batch, so new viewers should start there. The story is still set in 2011, in Green Dolphin Street Prison in Florida. Jolyne Cujoh has been locked up for a crime she did not commit. Her father, Jotaro Kujo, lies in a deep sleep after an enemy took both his memories and his Stand from him. A Stand is a special power that appears as a ghostly fighter beside its user. Jolyne's own Stand, Stone Free, lets her turn her body into strong string. Her goal is to bring back what her father lost, and to find out who is behind the attacks inside the prison. In this half, the danger grows. The enemy is a follower of Dio, the old vampire who was the great foe of the Joestar family for generations. This person wants to finish a plan that Dio left behind: a plan to make a kind of "heaven" on Earth. What that really means, and what it will cost, slowly becomes clear as the episodes go on. Jolyne and her friends begin to see that the fight is about much more than one prison. Jolyne's team is close now, and each friend has a part to play. Emporio is a boy who was born in the prison and knows its hidden corners. Ermes Costello is tough and loyal. Foo Fighters is a group of tiny plankton (very small sea creatures) that can think and talk like a person. Weather Report is a quiet man with no memory of his past, whose power affects the weather. A new ally, Narciso Anasui, joins too. He is a strange and intense man who is deeply in love with Jolyne, which leads to some funny and awkward moments. As in earlier JoJo stories, the enemies have very odd powers. Each battle has its own rules, and the heroes must solve them like a puzzle to survive. The fights grow bigger and more wild as the story goes on. Between the battles, there are moments of friendship, humor, and loss. This half is darker and more emotional than the first. It looks at fate, family, and whether people can choose their own path. It also has the big style, bright colors, and dramatic music that fans love. There is a lot of blood and some body horror, so it is best for older viewers. Many fans see it as one of the boldest and most moving chapters in the long Joestar family story that began with Jonathan Joestar in the first JoJo season.
