Hell Mode confirms Season 3, taking Allen into the S-Rank Dungeon

Allen's next destination is the S-Rank Dungeon. The night the second season wrapped with its 25th overall episode on TOKYO MX (September 25), the anime of Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing confirmed a third season is in the works, subtitled the S-Rank Dungeon Conquest Arc.

The news came with a teaser illustration. Tamtam, the massive golem under Meruru's command, towers over her and Allen as the pair stand shoulder blade to shoulder blade. The official post teases tougher foes and fresh trials inside the dungeon, yet names no premiere window, broadcaster, or production team for the new cour.

The franchise has moved fast. Season 1 debuted in January 2026 with 12 episodes, and Season 2 arrived that July with 13, which is why its finale carried the number 25. Director Masato Tamagawa led both at Yokohama Animation Lab, working from scripts by Daishiro Tanimura and character art by Kei Tsushima. Mutsumi Tamura leads as Allen opposite Miyu Tomita's Meruru, and the wider ensemble features Takahiro Sakurai as Helmios and Shinichiro Miki as Theodojiil. Romanha Marshmallow and ChoQMay supplied the opening and ending themes.

The story comes from Hamuo's web novel, which began on Shosetsuka ni Naro in late 2019 and has not finished. Earth Star Entertainment has printed it since July 2020, and Tetta's manga version launched on Comic Earth Star three months later. Its hero, Kenichi Yamada, is a 35-year-old office worker bored by easy games. He picks the Summoner class at the punishing top difficulty of a mysterious title and wakes up reborn as Allen, a baby in a family of serfs, with no guides to explain what his class can do.

For English readers, J-Novel Club carries the novel and manga digitally while Yen Press handles print. Outside Japan, both seasons so far can be watched on HIDIVE, which also offers an English dub, and on ADN in France and Germany.
