Hell Mode: Yarikomi-zuki no Gamer wa Haisettei no Isekai de Musou Suru 3rd Season

This entry is the third season of the Hell Mode anime. It was announced on September 25, 2026, right after the second season finished airing. The new season will adapt the part of the story known as the S-Rank Dungeon Conquest Arc. Hell Mode is based on a light novel series by Hamuo, with art by Mo. It began as a web novel in 2019 and won the grand prize of the 2nd Earth Star Novel Award in 2020. Earth Star Entertainment publishes the books, and by December 2024 they had sold more than 1.6 million copies. In English, the novels come from J-Novel Club and Yen Press. The anime is made by Yokohama Animation Laboratory and directed by Masato Tamagawa. Season one aired from January to March 2026, and season two aired from July to September 2026. The hero is Allen. In his past life, he was Kenichi Yamada, a Japanese office worker who loved very long, very hard games. He picked a strange setting called Hell Mode, where growth is slow but has no upper limit, and he chose the Summoner class, which lets him call magical creatures. He was then reborn in a fantasy world as the child of serfs, poor farm workers bound to a lord's land. With patience and careful planning, he grew stronger and stronger. In season two, he went to Academy City, formed a team called the No-Life Gamers with his childhood friend Krena and other students, and caught the eye of Helmios the Hero.

The third season's arc name tells us where the team is heading next: a dungeon ranked S, the highest level. In games, a dungeon is a dangerous place full of monsters and treasure, and clearing a top-rank dungeon is a big challenge.
