The TV anime of Chinkururi's gacha-summoning fantasy starts Thursday, January 7, 2027 at 21:25 JST, with a key visual out now. Aimi Ozawa and Reon Esumi of ≒JOY join as Miguru and Lennon, and episodes 2 and 3 screen early in Odaiba on January 10.
Thursday nights at 21:25 JST are where Gacha Girls Corps will live: the TV anime adaptation of Gacha wo Mawashite Nakama wo Fuyasu premieres on January 7, 2027 on TOKYO MX, its official site announced on November 7 alongside a new key visual.
TOKYO MX goes first. The rollout then continues on BS11, AT-X, RKB Mainichi and Hokkaido Broadcasting, whose exact airdates are still to be confirmed.
The same update filled out a bit more of the cast with a pair of ≒JOY idols. Aimi Ozawa plays Miguru, an upbeat archer, and Reon Esumi voices Lennon, a shop clerk with a passion for fashion. They join a cast led by Daisuke Sakaguchi as Heihachi Okura, with Miyu Tomita as Norl Fanya and Iori Noguchi as Estelle.
Those three leads will greet the audience at an early showing of the second and third episodes on Sunday, January 10, 2027, three days after the premiere. The venue is the United Cinema in Odaiba's Aqua City mall, Risa Unai is hosting, and seats cost 4,000 yen via Ticket Pia.
From web novel to TV
Heihachi is a mobile game addict whose luck on a gacha pull drags him into another world. When monsters come at him there, his answer is to keep rolling, and the characters he pulls appear in front of him as allies; his goal is a roster of what the English manga edition calls "Overpowered Ultra Rare Cuties."
Chinkururi started the story as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in January 2016. Micro Magazine then put out nine print volumes under its GC Novels label between November 2016 and August 2020, illustrated by Yasutaka Isekawa. A manga drawn by Syuu Haruno has run in Micro Magazine's Comic Ride since March 2018, and Kaiten Books publishes it in English.
Zero-G and Saber Works share the animation work, with Starry Cube credited for production. Masahiro Takata is chief director and Takashi Asami directs, Deko Akao is in charge of series composition, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi and George King are writing the music. The series last showed new footage in July, when a trailer premiered at Crunchyroll's Anime Expo 2026 showcase.
