Roxy Heart

Roxy Heart commands the Holy Knights, an elite order sworn to protect ordinary people, despite many around her doubting that someone so young could handle the role. She earned her position the hard way, after her father, the previous commander, died fighting a dangerous dragon in a distant land, a battle Roxy later chooses to take on herself, following in his footsteps even knowing the risk.

Roxy cares deeply about the commoners under her protection, and it genuinely upsets her when the people she's trying to help end up fearing her instead of trusting her. She is not shy about standing up to bullies, more than once confronting a pair of siblings who look down on people they consider beneath them, and she resents being left out of decisions that affect the people she is responsible for keeping safe.

It is Roxy who first takes in Fate Graphite after he is exiled from his village, giving him a job and a place to belong when almost no one else would. What starts as simple kindness grows into real feelings on both sides, and Roxy's steady, caring presence becomes one of the few things that helps keep Fate's dangerous Gluttony power under control. She also carries grief from her mother's death to a long illness, and relies on her godfather, a retired knight, for guidance. Though her title gives her real authority, Roxy's true strength comes from how much she genuinely cares about the people around her, knights and commoners alike.
