Lei Qiang

Lei Qiang, known in Japanese as Kyou Kai, is a skilled swordswoman in Kingdom. She was trained as a killer in the Chi You clan, a secret group of female assassins. Her best-known move is a fighting style called the Dance of Death. She uses a sword named Lu Seui.

Lei Qiang knows little about normal life, so she can seem naive. Yet she is often smarter and more careful than Xin. After her older sister died in a rigged deathmatch, she swore revenge on those who caused it.

She joins Xin's unit as his second in command and at first hides that she is a woman. Her secret comes out after she is badly hurt in a battle. She and Xin work very closely together, and he depends on her to guide the unit in the field.
