Kou agrees to test it before the public can play. The test goes badly. Bugs in the system trap him inside the game. He cannot log out. He is also turned into a girl from the vampire race, and he begins in a remote forest. At first, it is a messy and funny disaster. Slowly, it becomes a real adventure as he learns the rules of this world, makes new friends, and takes on the game's challenges. In time, he earns a famous title, the Crimson Demon Lord. The story mixes comedy with adventure. It has the familiar fun of video game stories, like levels, skills, and teams, but with the twist of a hero who must live in a body that is not his own.
