Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans is the fourth anime season of this hit gang drama. It premieres in Japan in early October 2026 (AniList lists October 3). LIDEN FILMS, the studio behind every season so far, is making it. There is a change at the top: Maki Kodaira is the new director, while the previous director, Koichi Hatsumi, now writes the series structure. The anime comes from Ken Wakui's manga, which ran in Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2017 to 2022. With more than 80 million copies in circulation, it is one of the best-selling manga ever. The series is about Takemichi Hanagaki. At the start of the story, he is 26 years old, and his life is going nowhere. He learns that Hinata Tachibana, his only girlfriend from middle school, was killed along with her younger brother Naoto, because of a violent gang called the Tokyo Manji Gang, or Toman. Soon after, someone pushes Takemichi onto the train tracks. Instead of dying, he suddenly finds himself back in his own body 12 years earlier, as a middle school delinquent. By working with Naoto, he learns he can go back and forth between the two times. He decides to change the past to save Hinata. To do that, Takemichi joins Toman and becomes friends with its leaders, including the powerful and mysterious Manjiro "Mikey" Sano. He is not a good fighter. He gets beaten again and again. But he never gives up, and his stubborn courage slowly wins people's respect. Earlier seasons covered the gang's early battles, the Christmas Showdown arc, and the Tenjiku arc. This season opens the story's final stretch. Takemichi is in his late teens now, and the world of gangs has changed. Toman is no longer the force it used to be. Three new gangs fight to rule Tokyo: Brahman, Rokuhara Tandai, and the Kanto Manji Gang. This battle for power gives the arc its name. New faces include Senju Kawaragi, a young gang leader, and older fighters such as Wakasa Imaushi, Benkei, Takeomi Akashi, and South Terano. Takemichi must again find a way to protect the people he loves. Tokyo Revengers mixes time-travel mystery with street fights, loyalty, and friendship. The fights are rough and emotional, and the show often asks what it means to be a true hero when you are weak. It contains a lot of violence and some dark moments, so it is best for teens and older. Watch the first three seasons before this one.
