Disney Twisted-Wonderland: THE ANIMATION - Season 2: EPISODE of SAVANACLAW

Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation is a streaming anime series based on a Japanese mobile game. The game was designed by Yana Toboso, who also created Black Butler. Plans for the anime include three seasons. Each season follows one part of the story from the game's manga versions. The second season is called Episode of Savanaclaw. The studio announced that it was in production in November 2025. It is set to arrive on Disney+ on December 23, 2026.

The story is set at Night Raven College, a school where young mages learn to use magic. A magic mirror chooses each student. The school has seven dorms, and each one is based on a Disney villain. Savanaclaw is the dorm that follows the ideas of Scar from The Lion King. Its students value strength and fighting, so the mood there is tough and competitive.

Two of its best-known students are Leona Kingscholar and Jack Howl. Leona is the dorm leader. He is a lazy and sharp-tongued older student with real power. Jack is a first-year student with a strong sense of right and wrong. Ruggie Bucchi is another Savanaclaw student who appears in the story. The main character from the world outside is also back. In this season the character is named Yuuka Hirasaka. Like the hero of the first season, this person has no magic and has to learn how to live in a school full of mages.

The game's story reminds fans that the school is not only about class and friendship. Mages who use too much magic can fall into a wild state called Overblot. That danger is a major part of each dorm's story. Savanaclaw's arc is about pride, hard feelings, and the pressure to be the strongest.

The first season, Episode of Heartslabyul, came out in the fall of 2025. It was directed by Shin Katagai at Yumeta Company and Graphinica. This season carries on from it with a new set of dorm students. Because the full plot has not been shown yet, this overview only covers what has been announced.
