Yuuya Tenjou

Yuuya Tenjou is the hero of Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru, a story about a boy living an ordinary, difficult life on Earth who stumbles onto something extraordinary. Before the story starts, Yuuya is bullied and overlooked, but everything changes when he finds a hidden door inside his grandfather's house that leads straight into another world called Argena.

That world once belonged to a powerful sage, and Yuuya inherits access to that sage's incredible weapons, tools, and crops, gaining skills and resources far beyond what anyone on Earth could imagine. Because he can travel freely between Argena and his own world, Yuuya uses what he learns and gains on the other side to turn his ordinary, painful life back on Earth completely around, becoming someone people respect instead of someone they bully.

Along the way, Yuuya saves Kaori Houjou, the daughter of his school's chairman, from a dangerous situation near a convenience store. Grateful and impressed, she recommends him for admission to the prestigious Ousei Academy, giving him a chance at the kind of normal life and recognition he never had before his discovery. His journey between two worlds, gaining strength in one to fix his life in the other, drives the story forward.
