Mei Nakatsugawa

The fourth season of Laid-Back Camp continues a calm, friendly story about camping in Japan. Reports say it is set to premiere in April 2027. It was announced in November 2024. The studio for this season is FuRyu Pictures. Shin Tosaka returns as director, and most of the staff from the third season come back with him. Ryuta Ura is the new character designer. The opening song is "Brand New.." by Asaka, and the ending song is "Happa no Tegami" by Eri Sasaki. The story comes from a manga by Afro, which is printed by Houbunsha and has 19 collected volumes. Earlier seasons were made by other studios. C-Station made the first two, and Eight Bit made the third. Each one keeps the same slow and warm feel. The show follows a group of friends who love the outdoors, mostly around Yamanashi Prefecture, near Mount Fuji. Nadeshiko Kagamihara is a cheerful girl who loves good food and new places. Rin Shima likes quiet solo trips but has grown to enjoy her friends' company. The cast also includes Ema Mizunami and Mei Nakatsugawa, who appear in this season's main group of characters. Like the earlier seasons, this one is a slice-of-life comedy. There are no big battles. Instead, you watch friends set up tents, cook simple meals, and enjoy views. Fans call this style iyashikei, a Japanese word for gentle stories that help you relax. This page covers only what has been confirmed so far. The official plot of the new season has not been shared in detail, so no story events are described here.
