Henry Cleet

Many fantasy stories let a hero win by getting stronger the hard way. This one lets a hero win by finding a mistake in the game-like rules of his world. It is based on a light novel series by Nikita Kitagawa, with drawings by Meto Sasame. Kodansha has published it in Japan since June 2022. A manga version by Yui Hata started in the same month. A TV anime was announced in August 2026 for 2027. The studios are Durandal and Tengu Kobo. Haruki Kasugamori directs it, and Hiroshi Hosokawa writes the series script. Sonilude handles the sound. The story takes place in a fantasy world full of dungeons. A dungeon is a dangerous underground place filled with monsters and treasure. Adventurers form groups and go inside to find rare items. Some groups hire a porter, which is a person who carries bags and supplies for the others. Fighting is left to the rest of the team. Henry is a young adventurer, and he needs money. He has a younger sister who is frail, and he wants to take care of her. The problem is that his only skill is called Evasion, which helps a person dodge attacks. Everyone thinks it is a weak skill. The leader of his group, Guillermo, laughs at him and treats him as nothing more than a porter. In the anime, Riko Aono voices Henry, and Tatsuhisa Suzuki voices Guillermo. Things change when Henry goes into a dungeon by himself. Monsters attack him, and he uses Evasion to survive. Then he finds out something no one expected. His skill lets him pass right through walls. In a normal game, this would be called a bug, which means a mistake in how the game works. The title of the series uses this word. The wall trick lets Henry walk into places that other adventurers cannot reach. He can enter rooms that nobody has explored. He can find rare items that are hidden there. He can also get the reward that the dungeon gives to the first person who clears a certain area. Slowly, the boy everyone laughed at becomes stronger and richer. Other characters include Elelet, voiced by Momoka Terasawa, and several more adventurers. The series belongs to the dungeon and adventure fantasy kind of story. It is also a revenge-and-rise tale, where the person who was put down grows quietly and proves his worth. The tone looks light and fun, and there is humor in how a small trick turns into a big advantage. At the center is Henry's care for his sister. This gives the story a warm reason to keep going, beyond just winning. The anime does not have an exact air date yet. Fans who enjoy stories about hidden talent and clever ways to use a weak skill will probably want to keep an eye on it.
