Falco Grice

Falco Grice trains as a Warrior candidate for Marley alongside his close friend Gabi Braun, following in the footsteps of his older brother Colt. Unlike many of his fellow candidates, Falco is not the strongest fighter in the group, but he makes up for it with quick thinking, genuine kindness, and a habit of trying to understand people instead of simply judging them.

That kindness extends even to people who should be his enemies. Falco is consistently willing to put himself at risk to protect or save others, soldiers on the opposing side included, a trait that sets him apart from the harsher, more ruthless culture around him. He is also deeply, quietly in love with Gabi, though he never fully says so outright, choosing instead to show it through loyalty rather than words.

That loyalty eventually pushes Falco toward one of his biggest decisions: he wants to be the one chosen to inherit a powerful Titan rather than let Gabi take that burden, partly out of genuine care for his fellow soldiers and partly because he cannot bear the thought of her carrying that weight alone. His path crosses with enemy soldier Connie Springer, who at one point even kidnaps Falco in a desperate attempt to save his own dying mother, showing how deeply the war's cruelty tangles the lives of people on both sides, Falco included.
