Laid-Back Camp is a gentle show about people who enjoy the outdoors at a slow pace. Its third season ran from April to June 2024. It was made by the studio Eight Bit and directed by Shin Tosaka. The story comes from a manga by Afro. The manga appears in Houbunsha's magazine Manga Time Kirara Forward, and Yen Press publishes it in English.

The series takes place mostly in Yamanashi Prefecture, in Japan. This area sits near Mount Fuji, so many scenes show lakes, forests, hot springs and wide mountain views. The cold seasons are a big part of the look of the show. Warm drinks, simple meals cooked on small stoves, and glowing lanterns are shown with great care. The main characters are high school girls. Nadeshiko Kagamihara is cheerful and loves to eat. She came to camping as a beginner, and she meets every new place with joy. Rin Shima is quiet and likes to camp alone, with only her thoughts and a hot cup of tea. Over the story, Rin slowly learns that sharing a trip can be nice too. Chiaki Oogaki is the loud and playful president of the school's Outdoor Activities Club. Aoi Inuyama is her calm friend who helps run the club. Ena Saitou, a girl with a pet dog, also appears among the regular faces.

In this season, the club members spend time in their small clubroom. They try do-it-yourself projects and little experiments, which they enjoy with plenty of laughing. These club days leave Nadeshiko wanting a solo trip of her own, much like the ones Rin loves. But there is a new plan first. Ayano Toki, a friend of the group, and Rin invite Nadeshiko to camp near the Ooi River. The three girls head out together, and the trip becomes a chance to make memories that will stay with them for a long time.

The drama is small and kind, like a friend who is shy about asking to join a trip, or the joy of a hot meal after a cold ride.
