One-Punch Man Season 3's second cour returns in January 2027, with Garou front and center in its first PV
J.C.Staff's continuation of the Monster Association arc now has a winter window, a new key visual and a JAM Project opening, "Never Done -SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR-". The first Blu-ray and DVD volume, each with a new OVA, follows on January 27.
The S-class heroes are walking into a trap. That is the setup of the first promotional video for the second half of One-Punch Man Season 3, which the series' official X account released on October 10 alongside news that the remaining episodes will begin airing in Japan in January 2027.
In the PV, the Hero Association's top tier is ambushed underground by the Monster Association's executives, Tatsumaki is in the thick of the fighting, and Garou appears to be waking into something new. Saitama, meanwhile, is shown dashing through the monsters' subterranean base with Flashy Flash. The accompanying key visual makes the priorities plain: Garou occupies the middle of the frame, with Tatsumaki and Genos positioned behind him.
A split season picks up where it stopped
Season 3 premiered on TV Tokyo on October 12, 2025, following a recap special a week earlier, and ran 12 episodes through the end of December. The continuation was confirmed as soon as that first cour wrapped, though until now it carried only a year. The story it resumes is the raid on the Monster Association's hideout, launched after monsters abducted the child of a Hero Association executive, while Garou, the self-styled "human monster" captured after his clash with the heroes, comes to inside the lair.
J.C.Staff remains the studio, as it has been since Season 2 in 2019; Madhouse animated the 2015 first season. Shinpei Nagai directs, having taken over from Chikara Sakurai for this season, with Tomohiro Suzuki handling series composition and Makoto Miyazaki on music. Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryosuke Shirakawa share character design duties.
Makoto Furukawa leads the returning cast as Saitama, alongside Kaito Ishikawa as Genos, Aoi Yuki as Tatsumaki (Terrible Tornado), Saori Hayami as her sister Fubuki (Hellish Blizzard), Mamoru Miyano as Amai Mask and Kenjiro Tsuda as Atomic Samurai.
JAM Project, again
The veteran anison group is back for the opening. Its new song is titled "Never Done -SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR-", and the group says it set out to capture both Saitama's cool and Garou's madness. The first cour's opening, "Get No Satisfied!", was a JAM Project collaboration with BABYMETAL. The CD single goes on sale in Japan on January 27, 2027.
That same date brings the first home-video release for the season: Bandai Namco Filmworks is issuing Volume 1 on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan, and each edition carries a newly produced OVA episode.
Where to watch
An exact premiere date and the Japanese broadcast lineup have not been announced yet. Outside Japan, Crunchyroll and, in the United States, Hulu have carried Season 3.
The source is ONE's manga, which started life in 2009 as his self-published webcomic before Yusuke Murata redrew it for Shueisha, which began publishing that version in 2012. VIZ Media handles the English edition, and the series has passed 38 million copies in circulation.
