Dengeki Bunko's autumn stream greenlights four light novel anime, from a slave-healing isekai to a Heat the Pig Liver author's school mystery
The October 3 Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival Online 2026 announced anime of Dorei kara no Kitai to Hyouka no Sei de Sakushu Dekinai no da ga, My Sweet Marriage to My Ex-Nemesis, This Is the End Stagnation Committee and The Science Notes by Delta and Gamma.
Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival Online 2026 used its Saturday, October 3 broadcast to reveal four brand-new anime projects, all drawn from light novels that started within the last three years. Only one of them has a studio attached so far.
A married pair of former enemies, with staff already in place
The furthest along is Toshimichi Uzou's Soshiki no Shukuteki to Kekkon shitara Mecha Amai (My Sweet Marriage to My Ex-Nemesis). Roushi Saikawa, the "Feather Hunter," and Ritsuka Yanagi, the "White Demon," once served rival organizations of superpowered agents and spent their days trading blows. Once both groups dissolved, the two began dating and then married. The comedy comes from Roushi's continuing failure to take their relationship any further than the doorstep kiss.
EMT Squared is animating it, with Atsushi Nigorikawa (Aru Majo ga Shinu Made) directing, Keiichiro Ochi on series composition and Yuki Nakano designing characters. The novels have run in Dengeki Bunko since October 2023 with art by Kewi Hayashi, and a sixth volume is due on November 10. Shiime's manga version is serialized in Dengeki Maoh, and One Peace Books will release it in English starting March 16, 2027.
Healing slaves, losing the spotlight
The premise of Maware Isogawa's Dorei kara no Kitai to Hyouka no Sei de Sakushu Dekinai no da ga (I Can't Exploit it Because of the Expectations and Evaluation from Slaves) inverts a familiar isekai fantasy. Allen is reincarnated with a Regeneration skill that cures anything, and plans to restore a group of enslaved girls and retire into an easy harem life. Instead, the restored girls outperform him at everything, from farming to running a business built on his own modern-world know-how. The festival unveiled only an early teaser visual. The novels, illustrated by Heirou under Kadokawa's Dengeki no Shin Bungei label since March 2023, reach volume 5 on October 16, and Sachi Nishioka's manga is running in Shonen Ace Plus.
Guns, girls and a former mafia errand boy
Kien Aien's Kochira, Shuumatsu Teitai Iinkai (This Is the End Stagnation Committee.) got an announcement promo. Its lead, Kotoha Kotoyorozu, has a past as a low-ranking mafia hand and has written off his own youth until he falls in with a group of heavily armed girls defending humanity from mysterious threats. The novels, illustrated by Ogipote, began in July 2024 and reached volume 6 in July. They placed second among new releases in Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2025.
A biology club that solves mysteries
The fourth title comes from Takuma Sakai, the author of Heat the Pig Liver (Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro). Delta to Gamma no Rigakubu Note (The Science Notes by Delta and Gamma) follows first-year Shou Izuta as he tries to revive his school's biology club and, with classmate Rio Iwama, works through campus puzzles scientifically, beginning with a vanished cherry tree said to bring couples together. Asagi Toosaka illustrates the novels, which started in November 2024; volume 4 is out October 9. Lap Tsutsumi's manga adaptation follows in book form on October 27.
For three of the four, the festival confirmed only that an anime exists: no studio, cast or premiere window has been given for Dorei, Kochira or Delta to Gamma.
