One Punch Man 3 Part 2 is the second half of the third season of the anime. Japanese TV seasons are often split into a "cour," which simply means a block of about three months of weekly episodes. The first cour of season 3 aired from October to December 2025. This second cour is planned to start in January 2027. Like the first half, it is made by the studio J.C.Staff and directed by Shinpei Nagai. The singers of JAM Project, who have sung the show's famous opening song since the first season, also return with a new opening called "Never Done: Supreme Power vs Ultimate Fear." The anime is based on a manga, which is a Japanese comic. It began in 2009 as a free web comic by an artist named ONE. Later, Yusuke Murata redrew it with much more detail for Shueisha's online magazine Tonari no Young Jump. The remake has more than 35 books in Japan and is sold in English by Viz Media. The first season of the anime came out in 2015 and was praised for its exciting fights and funny moments. Later seasons had a harder time with fans, mostly because of how they looked. The main hero is Saitama. He is a quiet, bald man who wears a simple yellow suit. After years of hard training, he became so strong that he can end any fight with one hit. That sounds great, but it makes his life dull. No fight is a challenge, and few people even notice how strong he is. Saitama often cares more about cheap food at the store than about saving the city. Next to him is Genos, a serious young cyborg, or part-human, part-machine fighter. Genos sees Saitama as his master and tries to learn from him. This part of the season continues the Monster Association story from the first half. The Monster Association is a secret group of monsters that hides in a huge base under City Z. It kidnapped a child from an important family in the Hero Association. In answer, the strongest heroes, the S-class, went down into the base. This second half moves deeper into that fight. The heroes face powerful monster leaders, and the battle grows into one of the most destructive events in the whole series. Garou is the other key person in this part of the story. He is a skilled fighter who has hated heroes for a long time. He likes the monsters in stories, because he feels the world is unfair to the people who are cast as the bad guys. He was taken to the monsters' base, and as the battle goes on, his path and the heroes' paths keep crossing. Viewers who have followed him since season 2 will see his story move forward in big ways. To keep things fun for new viewers, it is best not to say more about where his journey goes. At its core, the show is still a parody, which means it copies the style of superhero stories in order to make fun of them. It laughs at heroes who care about fame and rankings more than people. It also looks at how being too strong can make life feel empty. Saitama's calm, bored face in the middle of chaos is still the show's best joke. For many fans, this part of the manga is the most exciting, with huge fights and strong emotions. It is the part of One Punch Man that many people have been waiting to see animated.
