Doukyo Shiteiru Kensei no Onna Shishou ga Kawaisugite Mainichi Shiawase desu

My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With! is a fantasy romantic comedy anime. Its Japanese title is Doukyo Shiteiru Kensei no Onna Shishou ga Kawaisugite Mainichi Shiawase desu. The story is credited to Kennoji, with art credited to R_Ringo, and its manga version began on the KadoComi website in March 2024. The anime was confirmed in August 2026. MyAnimeList lists it for the Winter 2027 season (January 2027), but the staff news in September 2026 still gave no exact start date.

The show is set in a world of swords and magic. In this world, the very best sword fighters can earn the title of Sword Saint. A Sword Saint is a kind of living legend, the top of the top. Our hero is a young man named Eugene Dawson. He has one clear goal: he wants to become stronger. To do that, he trains with the best teacher he could hope for, the Sword Saint Lisa Balsandra. She is one of the most powerful fighters alive.

There is one small problem. Eugene and his teacher live together in the same house. With a sword in her hand, Lisa is amazing. At home, she is a very different person. She is careless, a bit lazy, and not good at taking care of herself. Lisa also does not seem to notice how close she gets to him, and she often wears very little. Eugene is happy living with her, but it is very hard for him to stay calm and focus on his training. The big question of the story is a funny one: can a boy really get stronger when his teacher keeps making his heart race?

The show belongs to the ecchi genre. Ecchi means a story with a lot of light, playful adult humor and some nudity, but it is still mainly a comedy. Much of the fun comes from slapstick, which is silly physical comedy, and from awkward moments at home. The story also has swordplay and a warm romance at its core. Other girls appear around Eugene and Lisa as well. According to MyAnimeList, the supporting cast includes Fiona Rosso, Erin Toa, Melis Eclipse, Lumiel, and Cordelia Dawson. Because of the adult humor, this series is meant for older viewers.

The anime is made by the studios Wolfsbane and Lightbox. Masayoshi Nishida directs, Yohei Kashii writes the scripts, and Ichiro Tanaka designs the characters. The music is by 12sound. In Japanese, Ai Kakuma voices Lisa and Seena Hoshiki voices Eugene. Miyu Tomita, Minami Takahashi, Tomoyo Takayanagi, and Azusa Tsujimori voice other members of the cast. For viewers who enjoy a strong, goofy heroine, a hard-working hero, and a cozy home comedy wrapped in a fantasy world, this series looks like a light and cheerful pick.
