Ten years after it first aired, Yuri!!! on ICE is getting a big-screen night. Crunchyroll announced on September 29 that its Anime Nights program will show the opening five episodes of the figure skating series in select theaters across the United States and Canada on October 19, 2026.

The event is a one-night presentation at 7 p.m. local time. It plays in Japanese with English subtitles only, and Cinemark and Cineplex list a running time of about two hours. Tickets are already on sale, with Fandango taking orders and showing participating locations.

Those five episodes cover the setup of the whole show: Yuri Katsuki, coming off a disastrous season, ends up with five-time world champion Victor Nikiforov as his coach. Siliconera notes that the stretch includes Yuri performing Victor's routine, the video going viral, the pair meeting and Yuri's competition with Yuri Plisetsky. Crunchyroll also released a trailer for the screening that focuses on the skating performances.

MAPPA animated the 12-episode series, which premiered on October 6, 2016. Sayo Yamamoto directed it and created the original concept together with Mitsurou Kubo. A theatrical film was once planned for the franchise but was later canceled, which makes this anniversary screening the closest the series has come to cinemas. The full series remains available on Crunchyroll and on Blu-ray.
