Where is the Elf Teacher's Toilet? manga is getting a TV anime
Chizuna Nakajima's comedy about an elf student teacher who may only relieve herself amid nature will be adapted for TV, with the manga returning to serialization at the same time.
An elf on a teaching placement at an all-boys school, bound by her people's rule that nature is the only acceptable restroom: that is the entire, very specific premise of Where is the Elf Teacher's Toilet? (Elf-sensei no Toilet wa Doko desu ka?), and it is headed to television. A newly opened X account revealed the TV anime this week with a commemorative illustration by creator Chizuna Nakajima. No studio, staff, cast or airdate was included; Wikipedia's entry places the project under Deregula, WWWave Corporation's anime label.
The heroine, Eruru, spends her days hunting for greenery in an urban school while trying to hold on. The announcement's promotional copy bills it as a "thrilling and heart-pounding pee comedy."
The manga first appeared in Comic Cune in early 2024 and paused after January 2025, having produced two volumes (July 2024 and February 2025). The anime news coincides with its return: the November 2026 issue of Comic Cune resumes the story.
Nakajima is not new to adaptation. Her earlier Angel's Drop received a five-minute TV special in May 2013, and she also drew The Bicycle Lady for Comic Cune. The magazine has fed several anime before, including Nyanko Days, Hinako Note, Alice or Alice and Ms. Vampire Who Lives in My Neighborhood.
