Mushoku Tensei Season 3 confirms a second cour for 2027 with a new teaser
The confirmation followed episode 14 on September 27; the new footage sets Rudeus on a path toward Orsted, the Dragon God, but no premiere month has been named.
Rudeus Greyrat gets no rest. Minutes after the summer run of Mushoku Tensei wrapped with its fourteenth installment on September 27, the production confirmed that more episodes of this third season will follow in 2027, and it put out a short preview to go with the news. A month or season has not been named.
That preview picks up exactly where the story left off. Having read the journal written by an older Rudeus, the hero now knows the Man-God cannot be trusted, yet he still has to obey that deity without arousing suspicion. The order he has been handed is to kill Orsted, the Dragon God, and that looming fight is what the new footage hints at.
Shibuya Ryosuke remains in the director's chair at Studio Bind, and Fujisawa Yoshiaki keeps scoring the show. Crunchyroll carried the first half through the summer.
For newcomers: the television adaptation began in Winter 2021, and a second season aired in two halves in 2023 and 2024. The source is the light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote with art by Shirotaka, and a free-to-play game titled Chronicle of Echoes is due before the year is out.
