A gruff ex-adventurer and the cursed child he ends up raising now have their voices. Hiroki Yasumoto will play Douglas and Yuka Iguchi will play Rabi in the TV anime of I Lost My Adventurer's License, but It's Fine Because I Have an Adorable Daughter Now, which the official site confirms for January 2027.

The October 15 update also put out a second teaser visual and a teaser PV, and named the team behind the show. Studio Palette is animating. Yuki Inaba wears three hats, directing, writing scripts and overseeing series composition; Inaba previously worked on Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season II. Kaori Yoshikawa, credited on Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou, draws the character designs and leads the animation directors. Shu Oh and Daiki Okuno share the score, with Space Shower Music producing.

None of this was known when the adaptation was unveiled at the GA FES 2026 stream on January 4; that announcement came with only a teaser image.

Manimani Ononata first posted the story online through Shosetsuka ni Naro in December 2017. SB Creative picked it up for its GA Novel imprint in August 2018, with Fuzichoco providing illustrations. Fumi Tadaura's comic version has been running on Square Enix's Manga UP! since November 2018, and English readers can follow it on the global edition of that service.
