These are three special episodes of My Happy Marriage, the romantic fantasy anime based on the light novels by Akumi Agitogi. All three episodes air together on Sunday, October 25, 2026, on TV Tokyo and other stations in Japan, starting at 7:00 p.m. Japan time. They then stream around the world on Netflix and other services later that evening. Studio Kinema Citrus, which made both TV seasons, is animating them. Takehiro Kubota returns as director and also writes the episodes' structure. My Happy Marriage takes place in a version of Japan that looks like the early 1900s, when Western fashion and old traditions lived side by side. In this world, some families have special spiritual gifts, and those powers decide a family's status. The heroine, Miyo Saimori, was born into such a family, but her gift did not seem to appear. Her stepmother and half-sister treated her like a servant for years. She was then sent to be the bride of Kiyoka Kudo, a young army commander whom everyone said was cold and cruel. The real Kiyoka turned out to be very different from the rumors. He is strict but fair, and he slowly came to value Miyo's quiet kindness. With his care, Miyo began to heal from years of pain and to believe she deserved to be happy. The two TV seasons followed their growing love and the dangers around them, including powerful enemies and secrets about Miyo's own family and her hidden abilities. The special episodes are set after the big conflict of the second season. The danger has passed, and life has become calmer. Now Miyo and Kiyoka are looking ahead to their wedding, and they feel closer to each other than ever. In one story, Miyo goes to a cooking class together with Hazuki, Kiyoka's warm and lively older sister. There, Miyo runs into someone she did not expect: a girl who used to be her classmate. This meeting may bring back memories from Miyo's difficult past, but it also shows how much she has changed. These episodes are a gentle treat for fans. They focus less on battles and more on everyday moments, family bonds, and the sweet, quiet romance that made the series popular. They are a chance to see the couple enjoy the happiness they worked so hard for. New viewers should start with the first season. These specials make the most sense after watching both TV seasons.
