Tokiko Kurose

This anime is based on a Japanese light novel series by Rokuro Uraji, with art by Saburo. A light novel is a type of Japanese book for young adults, with a few anime-style pictures. The story also has a manga version drawn by Chihiro Masuda, which began in June 2021 and can be read in English on MangaPlaza. The anime was first said to be coming in 2026, but in June 2026 the official site announced a delay to January 2027. It will air on AT-X, a Japanese pay TV channel. The hero is Yusuke Takemura. Before the disaster, he works at a company, and he does not like being around other people. Then, very suddenly, his normal life ends and zombies are everywhere. Everyone else is in danger. But Takemura soon finds out something strange: the zombies leave him alone. They will not go after him. This odd gift changes his whole life. For most people, the new world is a place of fear and hiding. For Takemura, it becomes a kind of freedom. He does not feel he owes anything to anyone. When the question of helping others comes up, his answer is cold. He wants to live the way he likes, and he does not see why he should risk anything for strangers. The big question of the story is what kind of person Takemura will become. With this kind of safety in a broken world, he could turn out to be a savior, a selfish loner, or something else. The series does not paint him as a classic good hero. Instead, it follows a tired, distant man who suddenly has no one to answer to. Along the way, he crosses paths with other people trying to stay alive, including Mitsuki Fujino, Sayaka Makiura, and Tokiko Kurose. It is important to know that this is a story for adults. Its genres are action, thriller, supernatural, and ecchi. Ecchi is a Japanese word for anime with sexual jokes or content, so the show is not meant for children. It is a seinen title, meaning it is aimed at adult men. The mood is dark, and it plays with the zombie survival genre by giving the main character safety instead of constant danger. For the anime, the studios acca effe and Frontier Engine are doing the animation. Kazuya Fujishiro is the director, and Yasushi Hirano is in charge of the series scripts. Wataru Kato voices Takemura, and Yuno Azuma plays Mitsuki Fujino. The music is by ISAO.
