Sayaka Murano is a member of the Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club in the Love Live! Hasunosora franchise, performing as part of the subunit Dollchestra. Before joining the club, Sayaka was a competitive figure skater whose career had stalled, leaving her unsure of what came next.
It is fellow club member Kaho Hinoshita who invites her to join the idol club, hoping the new challenge might help Sayaka rediscover her confidence. The two grow close enough that they later serve together as joint club presidents in their final year, sharing the job of guiding the group's younger members.
Within Dollchestra, Sayaka takes on an almost motherly role toward her bandmate Tsuzuri Yuugiri, who tends to wander off and forget practical things like meals; Sayaka is usually the one looking after her and keeping her on track. Sayaka also has a personal connection to the sport she left behind: her older sister is a figure skater as well, which adds another layer to how Sayaka thinks about the career she walked away from. Steady, caring, and quietly determined to support the people around her, Sayaka represents one of the more grounded, responsible personalities in the Hasunosora idol club.

Bloom Garden Party is a feature film from the Love Live! Hasunosora Jogakuin School Idol Club project, one part of the long-running Love Live! franchise. It opened in Japanese theaters on May 8, 2026, and runs about 75 minutes. Unlike most earlier Love Live! anime, the whole film is made in 3D computer graphics (CG) instead of hand-drawn 2D animation. Go Kurosaki directed it at the studio Sublimation. Fumiaki Maruto wrote the script, Haruko Iizuka designed the characters, Kaito Hamakawa led the CG work, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa wrote the music. The Hasunosora group did not start as a TV show. It began in a smartphone app called Link! Like! Love Live!, which launched on April 15, 2023. In the app, fans meet the girls through story chapters, live 3D concerts, and posts that feel like the characters' own social media. This film brings those girls to the big screen. A "school idol" in Love Live! is a student who forms a singing and dancing group at school, writes or learns songs, and performs on stage, a bit like an amateur pop group run by the students themselves. The story takes place at Hasunosora Girls' Academy. For a full year, Kaho Hinoshita and her clubmates have been working toward one big goal: the Bloom Garden Party, a special stage they have dreamed of. Now that day has come. It is tied to a promise the girls made with older members who have already graduated, so the event means much more than a single concert. It is also the very last day that the 103rd-year students, the class about to graduate, can spend at school with their friends. The main cast includes Kaho Hinoshita (voiced by Nozomi Nirei), Sayaka Murano (Kokona Nonaka), Kozue Otomune (Niina Hanamiya), Tsuzuri Yugiri (Kotoko Sasaki), Rurino Osawa (Kanna Kan), and Megumi Fujishima (Kona Tsukine). Younger members such as Ginko Momose, Kosuzu Kachimachi, Hime Anyoji, Ceras Yanagida Lilienfeld, and Izumi Katsuragi also appear. In the trailer, two students, Maika Kinjou and Aoi Reizawa, are given the job of filming and recording the Bloom Garden Party, so part of the day is seen through their camera. The tone is warm and full of feeling. It is a slice-of-life music story, which means it focuses on everyday school life, friendship, and hard work, with songs and dance numbers at its heart. The film is about a happy ending and a sad ending at the same moment. The girls get to stand on the stage they worked so hard for, but they also have to say goodbye. They still choose to give everything to their school days, right up to the final hour. Fans who have followed the group in the app will find the payoff of a whole year of their story here. New viewers get a clear, emotional look at what school idol life means: big dreams, close friends, and the sweet, painful feeling of a school year coming to an end.
