The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You is one of the silliest and most self-aware romantic comedies in anime. This is its Season 3. Bibury Animation Studios returns, with Takashi Aoshima again handling the series composition and Hikaru Sato among the returning directors. It aired on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS11 from July 5 to September 20, 2026, and has 12 episodes. The opening song, "Daisuki Zutto Eien Ni," is sung by the voice cast as the "Rentaro Family." The story comes from the manga written by Rikito Nakamura and drawn by Yukiko Nozawa. The basic idea is wild. Rentaro Aijo was turned down by 100 girls in middle school. Then the God of Love appears and explains that it was a mistake: Rentaro has 100 soulmates, and he will meet them all in high school. There is a catch. If one of his destined partners cannot be with him, bad luck will strike her, and she could even die. So Rentaro decides he will date every single one of them, with honesty and total commitment, and make all of them happy. The joke works because the show takes Rentaro's promise seriously. He is not a lazy harem hero. He is loud, kind, and ready to do anything, even risk his life, for each girlfriend. The girlfriends also like each other and act like a big, strange family. Earlier seasons introduced favorites such as Hakari, Karane, Shizuka, Nano, and Kusuri. This new batch of episodes adds more members to the family. Chiyo is a middle school class leader who needs everything to be neat and in order. Nadeshiko is a teacher with an odd way of presenting herself. Yamame is very tall and gentle, and she loves gardening. Momiji is a middle school student who is into massage. Kishika is the strict captain of the kendo club, which is Japanese sword fighting with bamboo swords, and she has a very embarrassing secret. There is even the grandmother of Kusuri, who took a strange drug that made her immortal. Each new girl usually gets her own mini story. Rentaro learns what makes her tick, faces a ridiculous problem, and wins her heart. Then the whole family helps her fit in. The humor is fast, full of parody, and often breaks the fourth wall, meaning the characters talk about being in a manga or anime. There is some ecchi content, a Japanese word for mildly sexy scenes, but the main focus is on absurd gags and warm, sincere love. Under all the jokes, the series has a simple, kind message: love means caring for each person as they are. It is best enjoyed after the earlier seasons, since the big cast keeps growing.
