Love Live! Hasunosora Jogakuin School Idol Club is an upcoming TV anime series set to premiere in January 2027. The official account of the project announced it on March 31, 2026. It is part of Love Live!, a large Japanese franchise about "school idols", which are students who form their own singing and dancing groups at school and perform on stage, much like a pop group run by the students themselves. The Hasunosora girls first appeared in a smartphone app called Link! Like! Love Live!, which launched on April 15, 2023. In the app, fans follow the club through story chapters, live 3D concerts, and posts that look like the characters' own social media. In May 2026 the group also got a 3D film in Japanese theaters, Bloom Garden Party, which told the story of the day an older class graduated. This TV series is the next step. The official announcement calls the series "Chapter 2" and says it focuses on the 106th class. At Hasunosora Girls' Academy, each school year is named by a number, so the 106th class is a newer group of members. The teaser lists eight members: Ginko Momose, Kosuzu Kachimachi, Hime Anyoji, Izumi Katsuragi, Ceras Yanagida Lilienfeld, Maika Kinjou, Aoi Reizawa, and Mion Shiwa. Some of these girls were already part of the club in earlier stories, while others are new faces. In the project's cast list, Hina Sakurai plays Ginko, Fuka Hayama plays Kosuzu, Rin Kurusu plays Hime, Miu Miyake plays Ceras, and Amane Shindo plays Izumi. The series is a music and slice-of-life show. Slice of life means the story focuses on everyday school days, friendship, and small personal goals, not on fights or fantasy. The club has a big female cast, and the girls share the spotlight as an ensemble, so each member has her own personality and her own reason for wanting to be on stage. Songs and dance performances are a central part of every Love Live! story, and fans can expect the same here. Full plot details had not been shared at the time of the announcement. What is known is that the show passes the club on to a new generation of members after the graduation shown in the film. For fans of the app and the movie, it is a chance to see the newer members lead the club. For newcomers, it is a fresh starting point into the Hasunosora story.
