Link Click Season 2

Link Click is a Chinese animated series, often called a donghua, which is the Chinese word for animation. It is written and directed by Li Haoling and made by Studio LAN, with help from Li's studio, Haoliners Animation League. It streams on the Chinese video site Bilibili. Season 2 has 12 episodes and ran from July 14 to September 22, 2023. It was announced at the end of the first season, which ended on a big cliffhanger, so this season should be watched after Season 1.

The series is set in a modern Chinese city and centers on a small business called Time Photo Studio. Two young men run it. Cheng Xiaoshi is warm, playful, and quick to act. Lu Guang is cool, careful, and serious. Together they take jobs from clients who carry some kind of regret about the past. Their friend Qiao Ling, who has known Xiaoshi since they were kids and is also their landlady, often brings them new clients.

The two men have a secret gift. Using a photo, Cheng Xiaoshi can jump into the moment the picture was taken. While there, he takes over the body of the person who took the photo and feels their memories and emotions. Lu Guang can look into what happened in the photo's place for up to 12 hours after it was taken. He talks to Xiaoshi inside his mind and guides him. But they follow strict rules. Each job gives them only one chance and only 12 hours. Most of all, they must not change the past.

Season 2 begins in a darker place. After the shocking events at the end of the first season, things are no longer calm at the studio. A dangerous killer has appeared, and no one knows what has happened to Lu Guang. Qiao Ling, who has always been on the edges of the studio's work, is now pulled into a larger plot. Cheng Xiaoshi has to face these problems while still finding his way through other people's pasts.

The show mixes many styles. Some parts are a mystery, some a thriller, and some a touching drama. Each client's story can be funny, sad, or tense. The big question is always the same: if you could see the past again, but could not change it, what would you do? The friendship between the two heroes is at the center, and it is tested hard this season.

Link Click is known for its sharp animation, strong music, and real tension. The film website /Film praised it and called it "life-affirming." The first season became very popular around the world, and this season raised the stakes. A prequel called the Bridon Arc followed at the end of 2024, and a third season began in August 2026.
